IN THE PROVISION OF OUR PRODUCTS WE AIM TO REDUCE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF OUR MACHINES BY:
As a producer of industrial batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Morris Machinery Limited, produce Lead Acid batteries and have placed these on the market during this year and the preceding three years. We are obliged to take back free of charge, waste industrial batteries supplied to an end user for treatment and recycling. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new industrial batteries on the market. If any of our customers or in certain cases other end users, require us to take back industrial batteries they should contact QHSE Officer, MORRIS MACHINERY LTD, UNIT 7F, CENTURION PARK, KENDAL ROAD, SHREWSBURY, SY1 4EH. 01902 790824. We will agree the necessary arrangements for the return, correct treatment and recycling of the waste industrial batteries.

The Company’s overarching Quality objective is to provide goods and services that meet our customers’ requirements. The Quality Policy supports our strategic business objectives and provides a framework for setting Quality Objectives. Quality objectives aim to minimise potential risks to the business and reduce instances of non-conformance. The Quality objectives are monitored via management reporting and then communicated to the wider team as appropriate.
Quality Communication
Quality is everyone’s responsibility. Managers communicate Quality procedures and their objectives to employees at regular intervals. All staff have access to the Quality documentation via the QHSE Officer. Communication to employees is carried out during normal day to day allocation of work requirements, specific customer order instructions, whether documented or communicated verbally.
